the past...the present...the future

So weird. One of me and my ex's, if I can even call her that spoke last night on Skype about what happened to us. It was about 3 and half years ago, we have always stayed in touch, had visits, sent texts, but not to the extent of the conversation last night....and for the first time ever, I would actually consider going back to someone. I'm all about evolution, progression, moving on...But in justification of my morals and values it was not a genuine relationship as we were both cheating. We were both in shitty relationships at the time. Though technically, my previous relationship had ended when I moved back from London, but we just antagonised each other for a year after it ended. So when this was going on, I was in a fucked up position of being in love with the past and being tempted by the future. In neither was I present...except perhaps in the bedroom. Anyways, I am the one that ended up being the total ass hole that made things crash and burn. Why? because I was weak, afraid and lazy to leave. I would use names, but to protect the identity of victims I will have to leave them out. hahahha sounds serious. But boy o boy at the time, what a mess.

Time has allowed healing, and even brought a new life into the equation. That is, she has had a baby since then and her life has changed and so has mine. Now...we started communicating at that level again and its back to how it was. Except...we are not in the same country and if we were we wouldn't be in the same state and if we were, life is different.

The past, messy and painful...The present...feels like the past never happened especially when we speak, The future...I don't write about because that would create an expectation and I don't have those anymore. I live right here in the present.

This is about all I am going to say because I'm just going to let it unfold and stay true to my journey and keep paying attention to all the beauty and amazing stuff going on in my life.

Cross Fit Chiang Mai

What I forgot to mention on my Saturday night post, is that I finally signed up to a month of cross fit. Muay Thai is great, but is way to expensive for my budget right now. 2500 baht for a month versus 8000 a month. The best part about this is that it feels like you train all of your body versus nailing my shins and knees. Don't get me wrong, they are totally different workouts both offering a great way to move and inflict that balance of pain and pleasure.

Saturdays workout was
45/75 pound Snatch, 30 reps
65/135 pound Snatch, 30 reps
75/165 pound Snatch, 30 reps
80/ 210 pound Snatch, as many reps as possible in 10 mins.

I can still feel my glutes and shoulders today...

This mornings workout was longer but felt so good.

In pairs for 30 mins we did
8 x 200m sprints
200 x sit ups
200 x air squats
8 x 200m sprints

Bill and I did it in 37 mins which is not very fast and longer than the recommended time, but we completed it and now I feel super good!

Today's agenda. Work on retreats and find off road running track. Yew!

Cerveza, P*rr*s, Esponala n la musica

Ummmmm
Saturday night after a very peaceful chilled out Saturday afternoon in the Park. Researching, kinda working (because my work is so fun its really not a problem) and hanging with my two girls. Loz and May (pronounced Mai)...we headed to the Saturday walking st market where I spent $17 on 3 pairs of pants and a vesty thing because I had to put all my laundry in today and the lady said it wouldn't be ready until tomorrow. So right now I actually don't have any clean underwear except of course for the pair I am wearing. So the purchase is totally justified. :) ooops, still no underwear.

We continued on across the street, to the food market where we couldn't read any of the carts and had to closely observe what the chef was doing, or had to stare and see what other people were eating. Finally read the Pad Thai sign and the dude had red curry so I was sorted. We savoured it and headed home to chill and wait for a this little webinar to start at 1am in the morning.

Could sound a little bit boring or feminist activist if your in to that kind of thing. But...for Petes' sake...Click the link...( and you will explode) only kidding. You will see that over 20,000 women have signed up to view it! sounds interesting :)

So.....I digress, I ramble, I diverge, I maunder... The point. We needed to occupy ourselves till 1am.

...and nothing like a chilled day to end with more chillin' stretching and my laptop and May...while Loz goes out an behaves 26! ! Go Loz!!..
